Programming and Interpretation

Preserving Black Churches Initiative – consultant to Rhodes Heritage Group to provide programming, educational, interpretive and partnership services for CJAM Consulting to the National Trust for Historic Preservation’s Preserving Black Churches Initiative, a program of the African American Cultural Heritage Action Fund. Denise serves as the RHG Project Lead for the Alabama Churches which includes Brown Chapel AME in Selma, Dexter Avenue King Memorial Baptist Church, Old Ship AME Zion Church in Montgomery and Old Sardis Baptist Church in Birmingham.
