Technical Assistance

Denise and Carlton participated in a nine-member technical assistance team during a three-day visioning exercise. The final report was submitted to a local organizing committee, and it identified options for restoring a one-mile span of the Broad—Historic Midtown Corridor so that it serves as a gateway that connects Gary’s Downtown to Historic Midtown. The team of allied professionals demonstrated constructive dialogues about race and planning can occur during a visioning workshop.
